Let’s talk about the best foods for weight loss because really, when it comes to losing weight permanently there really isn’t a secret formula that is going to solve everything. However, there are foods that will promote weight loss and enable you to sustain it for the long term, and that’s what we all want right?
Eating healthy weight loss meals does not equate to boring! There are sooo many delicious things you can eat. Trust me I used to be a carb and sugar addict that lived on breads, pastas and noodles and being bored is far from the truth. It is just a matter of re-educating ourselves into choosing the right things and cooking a bit differently. And I certainly haven’t felt deprived in any way since switching to a good food eating plan.
I’ve created a pictured food list of the best foods for weight loss below but first let’s take a look at a few delicious meals you might eat with the foods listed below.
Typical Meals

Steak, salad, tabouleh and avocado

Do these meals look boring? No way, they are delicious and obviously nutritious and are just a few examples of the endless variety you can eat. What a great way to lose weight…eat loads of yummy food. Now that’s my kind of diet

Think of all the amazing meals you can eat with all those food choices! The options are endless.
Now you may have noticed that I didn’t include grains, legumes, and dairy. These foods are not the best foods for weight loss. To promote optimal results, it’s best to stick to a really clean eating program. This does not mean you will starve to death or feel deprived in any way. There are loads of delicious meals you can eat.
