Many people drink fruit juice thinking it is a healthy drink option but is it?
Truth be told it’s not!
Whether you’re juicing your own fruit juice or buying it from the store, fruit juice really contains too much sugar to be beneficial for health or weight loss. In this short podcast we share some fruit juice nutrition facts that will definitely get you thinking.
Fruit Juice Nutrition Facts
It’s ALWAYS best to eat the whole fruit. Take a look at all of the nutritional comparisons below where I’ve compared the whole fruit with homemade fruit juice and some other common sugary drinks.
TAKE NOTE: A couple of things to take notice of is the difference in dietary fibre between the two, usually 0g for juices. And also take note of total carbohydrate and sugar content. What you will observe is that even though the total carbohydrate content is sometimes similar between juices and whole fruits, the sugar content is very different.







As you can see there is a big difference between fruit juice and the whole fruit when we compare nutrition facts. Eat the WHOLE FRUIT, it’s far better for you.
