Can you lose weight by walking?


I got asked this simple question today: Can you lose weight by walking?

The answer: Absolutely you can!

It’s funny, I’ve seen loads of people spending hours of time on the treadmill or pumping iron in the gym and never getting results. It’s usually because they don’t focus on the most important aspect of weight loss…what you eat!

It doesn’t matter how much exercise you do, if you’re still shoveling crap into your mouth you just won’t get the results.

Did you know that it takes 7 hours of running just to work off a big mac?

lose-weight-walkingAnd maybe a couple of hours to burn off a chocolate cookie or piece of cake.

Now that’s A LOT of exercise!

The point I’m trying to make here is that you can lose weight by walking if you focus on the most important thing. Clean up your diet.

Then walking is one of the best exercises you can do. The thing is, you can still lose plenty of weight without doing any exercise at all, but if you include walking and that’s all you do combined with a great healthy diet, then you’ll definitely get the results you want.
