Are you sick and tired of being fat? I know what it feels like to be in that position and it just feels like there is little you can do to change it.
You hate yourself for getting into such bad shape in the first place, and nothing you seem to do is getting you anywhere. You’ve tried diet after diet and nothing seems to stick. They all seem too hard and so you end up in an emotional eating cycle where you just continue to eat and eat and eat.
You know you need to do something about it, you know you will feel better if you do something about it, and you know it will help improve your health as well.
So what are you to do?
Well there is one thing I know for certain, doing the same thing over and over again only leads to a deeper hole you’re digging!

So it’s time to do something different.
I find that when faced with this position one error we all make is to take on too much too fast and we end up overwhelmed and that only leads us to eat, or binge, and ultimately fail. What I learned and now what I teach is to take small steps and just keep going!
Consistency is much more important than perfection and it’s the one major key to success. So stop giving yourself a hard time because you’re just trying to change everything all at once, and it just doesn’t work.
What you need to do is chunk it down and start with just one thing. Maybe your biggest challenge is going through the fast food drive through after work, maybe it’s chocolate binges after dinner, or maybe it’s an addiction to diet coke.
For most of us the negative food behaviour we engage in, feels like a major addiction and that’s where we probably want to start first. This is going to be one of our biggest hurdles and if we can get past this challenge, then we can start to take on other things and really sort stuff out.
Just commit to 7 Days
Start by commiting yourself to one thing for just 7 days. Don’t look too far in front because that can really throw us off and we feel like we are going to be deprived forever. If your biggest hurdle is too much to face, then just start with breakfast, the important thing is to choose one thing or one area to focus on for the 7 days.
Make a bit of a plan on what you are going to do instead. For example; take a snack for after work so you don’t go through the drive through. Set an acitvity after dinner to distract yourself from binging. Or plan a healthy breakfast to avoid the quick grab.
Then do those things for 7 days straight. Now we can all focus for just 7 days, especially when it’s on one thing, right? I believe you can!
So what thing are you going to work on and what is your plan of action?
I hope to see you there and good luck with getting started
