Easy Healthy Meals in 20 Minutes or Less (March Series)

For readers that may not know, I sent out a survey to my email subscribers with a selection of topics to vote for a series in March. I thank you all for taking the time to vote and have to tell you it was a tight call. But the winning topic selection was…(drum roll)… ‘Easy Healthy Meals in 20 Minutes or Less’!

So this month the focus here at Good Food Eating is a whole series of blog posts about how you can streamline your time in the kitchen. I’d really appreciate it if you could invite your friends to join in so we can all get involved. I’ll be posting something new every single day and sending out a weekly update to keep you informed, so if you haven’t already, make sure you subscribe to my newsletter  so you don’t miss a post :)

Easy Healthy Meals in 20 Minutes or Less

Two of the things I hear people say are their biggest obstacles when it comes to eating healthy is ‘time’ and ‘money’. Well we won’t be covering the money stuff in this series but I’m hoping to share some inspiration with you to help make healthy eating easier.

It’s a common misconception that eating healthy meals takes a lot of preparation and time but it’s not as difficult as you may think. I think that’s a major obstacle for many people when it comes to eating good food. Let’s face it, we’re all lazy and sometimes the last thing we feel like doing at the end of a long day is cooking, so we head for the take out or junk instead :(

We really don’t have to spend hours labouring over the stove and chained to the sink. We can whip up a delicious meal in less time than it would take to go down to buy take out food!

So some of the topics I’ll be includingduring the March series are:

  • What healthy proteins and meats to choose for fast cooking
  • Grabable supermarket meals you can have on your plate in minutes flat
  • Ideas to reduce preparation time
  • Quick cooking techniques
  • And of course I’ll share a delicious selection of recipes you can make in 20 minutes or less so you can get started in the kitchen right away!

Make sure you sign up for the weekly newsletter because I’ll be sure to include links to all the recipes :)

If you’ve got anything else you’d like me to include please leave me a comment below, perhaps you’ve got a few tips and tricks you like to share with me too :)

So…let the series begin. See you tomorrow!

Oh…and be sure to share this post as an invite to friends. Cheers :)
