You’ve been eating well and exercising but you seem to keep gaining weight or you’re stuck on a weight loss plateau without results.

You seem to have multiple issues and no matter what you try it doesn’t resolve.

You’ve got mysterious aches and pains that won’t go away.

Your hormones just seem to play havoc on you and you can’t get them on track.

You’re always fatigued, can’t muster up any energy, have a cloudy mind, and can’t seem to concentrate as well.

You’ve got a bunch of strange irritating symptoms with no explained cause.

You’ve got itchy or inflamed skin or scalp, itchy ears, and just feel irritable.

Do any or all of these situations sound familiar?

Your issue could be candida albicans overgrowth!

Candida Overgrowth Symptoms

Quite surprisingly there are many different symptoms of candida overgrowth that range across the different systems of the body. See the list below for yourself and you’ll soon realize how far reaching these nasty candida albicans can be.

To compile a large portion of this list, I dug out a an old book I had from Erica White. It’s one of the very first books I had about candida and it’s a goodie. The list provided on page 4 of the book is really comprehensive.

So here it is plus a few more I’ve added:

Conditions of the skin: athlete’s foot, ringworm, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, itching, easy bruising, acne, fungal nail conditions.

Conditions of the digestive tract: abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, bloating, belching, intestinal gas, indigestion or heartburn, mucus in stools, rash or blisters in the mouth (oral thrush), painful oesophagus, rectal irritation, food sensitivity or intolerance, dry mouth or throat, bad breath.

Conditions of the reproductive system: vaginal burning, irritation or discharge (thrush), endometriosis, infertility, period pains, menstrual irregularities, premenstrual tension, breast tenderness, loss of sexual feeling.

Condidtions of the urinary tract: frequency, burning, urgency, repeated urinary tract infections.

Conditions of the eyes, ears, nose, throat, chest: nasal congestion, post-nasal drip (catarrh or mucus running down the throat), itchy nose, sore throat, laryngitis, loss of voice, cough, recurrent bronchitis, pain or tightness in the chest, wheezing, shortness of breath, asthma, spots in front of the eyes, erratic vision, burning or watery eyes, recurrent ear infections, fluid in the ears, ear pain, deafness, sinusitus, dizziness, loss of balance.

Conditions of the joints, muscles and nervous system: muscle aches, muscle weakness, paralysis, painful joints, swollen joints, numbness, burning or tingling.

Conditions affecting the mind as well as the body: fatigue, lethargy, feeling drained, depression, poor memory, feeling ‘spacy’ or ‘unreal’, inability to make decisions, anxiety and panic, drowsiness, irritability, jitters, lack of coordination, concentration issues, mood swings, headaches or migraines, insomnia, body odor not relieved by washing.

Poor circulation: cold hands and feet, chilliness.

Weight issues: rapid weight gain, weight gain that occurs no matter what you eat, or inability to lose weight.

Cravings: intense sugar cravings, food cravings – especially for carbs, inability to satisfy your appetite, cravings for alcohol, beer or vinegar.

Health conditions: candida promotes obesity, promotes insulin resistance, promotes diabetes, weakened immune function, even autoimmune conditions.

As you can see there are many different symptoms of candida overgrowth. The microbes in our gut control various processes involved with digestion and metabolism that are critical to our overall health and immune function.

Candida Overgrowth Symptoms

So Is YOUR issue candida overgrowth?

It very well could be!

There is a spit test you can do at home to see if you have candida. You can check that out over here.

The thing is, because candida is like a fungus that travels throughout the body, almost any symptom could be candida related – as you can clearly see from that list above!

If you’ve been struggling with ‘health symptoms’ for sometime and they don’t seem to be getting any better. Or you’ve tried a variety of things without a result, then I’d definitely recommend you try a candida cleanse diet for a minimum of 6 weeks.

One great thing I’ve learned over the years is that following a candida diet helps almost anything!

It’s a strict whole foods based diet that really cleans out your system and it has amazing results every time. I’ve seen this in myself and in my clients time and time again. It is an anti-inflammatory diet, so helps with lots of inflammatory conditions too.

Expected results include:

  • Weight loss
  • Balanced hormones
  • Reduced aches and pains
  • Improved sleep
  • Clear skin
  • Improved digestion
  • Increased metabolism

So what I’m trying to say here is that even if your symptoms aren’t candida related, the candida diet itself is an AMAZING cleanse that boosts your bodies function on every single level.

I’ll tell you it’s not easy in the first week so I’m just warning you okay.

What tends to happen is you get a candida diet off reaction. Generally what this means is you feel a bit worse before you feel better, so the first week is no fun and you really have to prepare yourself mentally for the changes and challenges that come.

But really, that’s just like any diet or lifestyle changes, they aren’t easy. But when we want to get results, we do what we have to. I find for me it’s always an ongoing tweak of many aspects of my life. Often we know what to do but that doesn’t mean we do. And finding balance isn’t always easy, wouldn’t you agree?

The good thing is, you can still eat lots of awesome food on the candida cleanse.

If you want to get started you can check out the basic candida food list over here.

Or if you want to delve in more, then you might consider grabbing a copy of my Candida Diet Handbook. It’s got an entire food and supplement program with meal plan and much more.

Candida meal plans and food guideIf you just want the food stuff, then my 5 week Candida Meal Plan and food guide is the way to go. Because the diet is pretty strict it can be difficult for people to come up with food ideas.

Having so much experience with it makes it pretty easy for me to still eat interesting tasty things, which is why I created the candida meal plan sometime back. So it definitely helps make things easier.

But like I said, if you want to get started yourself, you can simply follow the basic candida food list over here.

If you’ve got a variety of symptoms or a health problem that doesn’t seem related to anything else, then it might just be a candida yeast overgrowth. It certainly doesn’t hurt to give the diet cleanse a 6 week run and see what it does for you.

So will you give it a try?

Your health is your wealth,

Jedha Xx

P.S. Here are some pictures from the 5 Week Candida Diet Meal Plan. Even though the diet cleanse is fairly restrictive, as you can see, there are still lots of yummy things you can eat.

Morrocan Chicken and Pumpkin Salad
Easy salmon and egg salad
beef-&-chickpea-quick-fry

I actually enjoy the simplicity of food and love getting back to basics and that’s really what the candida diet is all about!
