Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a loop?
You wake up in the morning and you’re not feeling overly enthusiastic about the day (again) because your hip aches, your hand hurts, you’ve got weight you need to lose [or insert your ‘problems’ here], and the list of negatives just seems to go on and on.
These problems are really starting to get you down.
You’re sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, but with so many ‘problems’ you have no idea what to do or where to start.
You want to feel different, feel better, feel happier. You don’t want to take meds. And you feel too young to be experiencing ‘all of these issues’. You really want to change things but, for some reason, you’re just struggling to get headed in the right direction.
Sound familiar?
Trust me, you’re not alone.
We all struggle with something, right?
Ask anyone and they will likely admit it.
And, it is hard to get started.
Trust me, I know this myself and struggle with different things all the time.
Even when we know better, we still struggle. We’re all human.

So, what’s your biggest struggle right now?
Among other things, I had a back injury last year and I’m still struggling to get on top of that.
It’s definitely on the mend but some days I get flare ups and although I may not feel like it, *I know* I have to exercise to stretch and continue to strengthen my back.
Some days though, it can seem like a matter of force – you know, our motivation can go up and down.
What are you struggling with?
Share it with me and I’ll help take the load. Seriously, a problem shared is a problem halved – as the old German proverb goes.

When we have to make change, it’s not easy. In fact, it can be down right hard, hard, hard.
Though, we are stronger than we know. We just need to dig a bit deeper and just get started – even if that start is teeny weeny small.
Habits are just routines we get into and we can get out of them too.
Excuses are just things we make up so we can stay stuck in our bad habits – even though we know these habits make us feel bad.
I think we have a GAP period.
We know there’s a problem, we think about things, sometimes for a long time (too long even). We know we want to change but we can’t seem to do it. We try a bit, we fail. We try a bit, we fail. We try a bit again, we can’t seem to get into a routine. We keep pondering. Then, perhaps we start making a bit of ground.
This is the GAP period.
It’s like wading through muddy waters. Your feet keep getting stuck in the mud and dragging you down, your body, mind, and soul, heavy with the struggle. Until, you wade in a bit deeper and start reaching the water where you can swim with a bit more ease.
It’s no fun being stuck in the mud. But you can get unstuck.
Sure, it’s not easy. But, you CAN do it!
Focus – just a little…

Focus in and put your mind to it. Focus on lifting your feet one step at a time through the thick mud. Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it takes effort. It even takes dedication and a little (or a lot) of extra attention and strength.
But if you’re determined to get there, you will.
All you have to do is take one small action, make one small change, and keep on going from there.
I’m no one special, so if I can make changes, so can you.
My mantra right now is: “I want to feel good.”
Trust me, if you’ve ever had a back injury where you literally could not walk, it doesn’t feel great by any means. So anytime I feel lazy, not wanting to do those stretches or go for a swim, I just think about how I want to feel.
Focus on the positive. On what you CAN do.
Don’t think about or wallow in how you feel now. Focus on how you want to feel and keep choosing the actions that match that feeling.
You CAN Make the changes you want.
So what’s your biggest struggle right now?
Let’s talk about it. Perhaps I can give a helping hand so you can start doing something just a little bit different. All it takes is just one step to get moving in the right direction.
P.S. If you feel like you’ve been treading water far too long and want to break out of it for good, I’ve currently got some spots open for one-on-one personalized programs that can help you reach your goals faster and more effectively – because they are 100% personalized to you!
The cost is $295 and includes you and me communicating one-on-one via email, looking at your food diary and health background, and creating a personalized action plan.
Since I’m incredibly busy, these spots don’t become available all too often, so if you’re interested in getting a personalized program, click here to submit your interest and Mandy my admin manager will send you further details.

Thanks for the great post!! It’s good feel i’m not the only one with struggles. My struggle right now is staying committed to health changes. I’ve been over weight since the birth of our 3rd baby 3 years ago. I start out great and then a few days in I “slip” and give up. I want more energy to play with my kids and just not to feel blah all the time but the commitment is tough!! Thanks for letting me express my struggle.
Namaste
Yes Autumn, everyone struggles, whether they admit it or not is another thing but it’s not something we need to hide. It helps to share it
Perhaps you’re trying to change too many things at once. Try making smaller changes and sustain them longer before making the next change. I’m sure you’ll be able to manage that. Thanks for sharing.
