We often know we should do things and yet feel that block Kristen, so you’re not alone in this. Next time you get the feelings, don’t overthink it or procrastinate, just drink some water and go for a walk. As you walk breathe deeply, focus on your surroundings, look at the colours and textures, and listen to the sounds. This is what I do and I find it takes me out of my head and gets me right in the now. Give it a try, I’d love to know if it works for you :)

My family and I have made huge strides toward a healthy life together. We are mainly paleo. I have done this for a few years now, but have gotten to a good place of knowing, hand’s down, that this is the way I want to live my life. My biggest battle is still emotional eating. I can’t seem to tame it no matter what. I think the biggest hurdle with it is that I don’t always have an outlet to talk about what I’m feeling, so I just want to eat something comforting. I know I should just take a walk, a bath, or something like that to get my mind off of it, but I feel like there’s some block that I can’t break through to fix this. Thanks for listening!
